Fresh Off The Press

We are pressing apples for the fresh apple cider that you all have come to enjoy. Please stop by and pick-up a fresh gallon (or half gallon) and take it home for supper. We will be pressing cider almost daily from now until approximately the New Year.

On another note...pumpkins are ready for picking. Bring the family and pick out your pumpkins for your fall decoration or your Halloween jack-o-lanterns.

Pick-Your-Own

Customers are now picking Jonathan and Grimes Golden apples.

We also have available for purchase in the Apple House pears, plums, zucchini, summer squash, Jonathan apples, Grimes Golden apples, and Early Blaze apples.

Jonathan Apple:
Spicy and fragrant, juicy, sweet-tart, all-purpose cooking except for whole, also good for hand-eating
Grimes Golden Apple:
Good all-purpose dessert and cooking apple
Early Blaze Apple:
Crispy, juicy and tart, excellent for pies, cobblers and sauce

Pick-your-own apples are picked into bushel bags in 5 gallon buckets for ease of carrying. The apples are then weighed and are sold by the pound.
